The second phase of the Higher Education SPROUT Project aims to shape universities/colleges/departments with clear positioning and distinctive advantages, possessing internationally recognized teaching and research capabilities. It integrates research and teaching to implement SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being, deepens collaboration with industries to realize SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure, and develops SDG 11: Sustainable Cities and Communities by strengthening local connections. It aims to cultivate talents aligned with future demands and national development, emphasizing both information technology and humanities, interdisciplinary approaches, self-directed learning, international mobility, social engagement, and problem-solving skills.
Based on national development and demands from industry, government, and academia, as well as societal indicators from OECD and national industries:
